New User Setup

A user must have a valid email address in order to create a CSIeSafe Account.

To open a CSIeSafe account:

Enter https://www.csiesafe.com into your browser address bar and press Enter. The CSIeSafe Login screen (Home page) will display.

Click on the New User tab at the top of the page or the New User link below the Current Members Login information.

Enter a valid email address in the Email Address/Username text box, then enter the Captcha characters into the "Enter Characters Above" box. Click Continue.

     

An Email Confirmation box will display with the following message:

"The email address ________(your email address) has been sent a password which can be used to complete your account setup."

Log in to your email account and open the "Welcome New User" email from CSIeSafe. The email you received will contain your user name and temporary password.

You must go back to https://www.csiesafe.com and login to complete the setup process.

At the CSIeSafe Login screen, enter the username and password provided in the email. Click Login.

Review the Secure MSG User Agreement and click I Accept.

Enter your "Required Personal Information" and click Create.

The phone number you provide can be used for further verification of your user name.

Your email address will be your user name to ensure that no duplicates can occur. 

Passwords must be at least eight (8) characters and must contain numbers (0-9) and letters (A-Z, a-z), but cannot contain spaces or special characters. Please make sure the password is difficult for others to guess.

Note: Always keep your username and password confidential and never share with others.

A message box that will confirm that your account has been validated. Click OK.

Your account has now been created, and you will be immediately directed to your CSIeSafe Inbox unless Advanced Security (multi-factor identification) has been enabled.  If it has been enabled, follow the procedure below.

Finishing the User Setup when Advanced Security has been Enabled

If advanced security (multi-factor) is enabled, you will have the following additional steps to complete your new user setup. These steps will authenticate your Email address and recognize the PC you are working from.

Immediately after the user account has been created for you, a message will display in CSIeSafe stating that an email has been sent to your email account to verify your identity. Click Close.

Login to your regular email account and open the "Security Setup" email message from Computer Services, Inc.

Click on the link within the message to confirm that email can be received using the given email address.

The computer accessing CSIeSafe will now be "trusted."

If the PC will be accessing CSIeSafe frequently, select the Install Token radio button.

If the token does not need to be installed, choose the Just Log In radio button.

NOTE: The "Just Log In" option should always be selected when using someone else's PC.

Enter your username and password in the text boxes and click Submit.

If "Install Token" was selected, a message will display stating that the secure token has been set up.

The CSIeSafe Inbox will then display on your screen.
